Here are a few decent photomics of Kimmelstiel-Wilson nodules in a decedent with end stage diabetic nephropathy:
And, here’s a nice example of hyaline arteriosclerosis in this case. In regular hypertension, this would probably an afferent arteriole. In cases of diabetic nephropathy, both the afferent and efferent arterioles can hyalinize, so I don’t know what this one was.
