Dr. Stephen Cohle made a great video of how to dissect the conduction system of the heart. When I got out of the Army, I had mostly forgotten my prosection skills, having done little other than programming, system administration, and image analysis for the military for 12 years. When I went back to doing “regular” forensic pathology, I found that I had forgotten a bunch of the practical things I had learned in fellowship. Dr. Kris Sperry mentored me though my first years at the GBI, and I scoured around for other learning aids. This was back in the early 2000s, and things weren’t quite as available as they are now. Dr. Cohle made this great video of how to dissect the conduction system, and I found it invaluable. I was cleaning up some old backup drives from a decade or so ago and ran across it.
It’s in old-style VHS, so the production quality is not the best in the world, but Dr. Cohle does a great job. He has been gracious and is allowing me to post it. Enjoy!
