Helen Pluckrose and James Lindsay have written a stunning book examining critical\/postmodern theory and it’s effects on society.\u00a0 The book is called “Cynical Theories: How activist scholarship made everything about race, gender, and identity — and why this harms everybody.”<\/p>\n

It is perhaps the best relatively short, accessible description that does not fall prey to the same problem that people who write postmodern articles have — of dropping into so much jargon that it becomes incomprehensible.<\/p>\n

Here’s an excellent review<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 The review is written by Helen Dale, who is best known for winning a major literary prize only to be attacked for having the wrong identity.\u00a0 That story is here.<\/a><\/p>\n
